Launched in late 2014 and now our bestselling model, the Enigma Etape Disc 3AL 2.5V Titanium Road Bike is superb to ride and combines all the Etape versatility with the added stopping power of hydraulic or mechanical disc brakes. Handcrafted from 3AL 2.5V double-butted titanium tubing the Etape disc also features a new heavier gauge chain stay plus a cleverly designed CNC machined rear dropout with internal disc mounts. The dropout design ensures all the additional braking stresses imposed on the frame by disk brake callipers are absorbed through the dropouts themselves and not the frame stays, which could otherwise potentially fatigue over time as a result of the extra braking loads generated.
